people comfortably.
Your group can self-cater for your stay or bring in your choice of caterer. DIY meals can potentially save you a fortune on expensive dining options. The ability to arrange meals to your group’s dietary requirements can also be a big win for health and sporting retreats adhering to specific nutritional needs. If you’d like a hand with meals, we can provide buffet breakfasts and arrange delegate packages upon request.
Concerts & Entertainment
If you’re heading to one of the fantastic concerts in the Hunter Valley with your friends, why not turn it into a two- or three-day event.
Make the most of your trip and do some wine tasting, play a round of golf or test your brains with an escape room experience. We’ve got plenty of suggestions of fun things to do within a few minutes’ drive of Thistle Hill.

If your group is keen to focus on wellness, we can connect you with Heart of the Hunter to facilitate a range of wellness activities.
The spacious lawn overlooking the dam is the perfect place for boxing, yoga, meditation, and PT sessions, or if you prefer indoor facilities, there’s plenty of space in the Pavilion beside the pool.
Family Reunions
Book out our entire venue for that big family reunion! With three dedicated areas, you can enjoy time together and have some solace when needed.
There’s space for everyone regardless of age and interests. With the variety of accommodation options, it’s easy for different groups to enjoy different activities.

At Thistle Hill you can get the entire family together including grandparents, children, babies and even your fur babies!
We have ground level accommodation and accessible bathrooms for people with mobility difficulties.
We can also supply porta cots and rollaway beds for young families.
